How to Lose Twin Pregnancy Weight


So, you just had twin babies and they are the joys of your life but you want your pre-pregnancy body back? What do you do to get results but not go overboard? Well, here is the healthy way to go.

Steps

  1. Relax. You just had two babies in your stomach so cut yourself some slack: nobody expects you to be right back to the way you were as if by magic.
  2. Avoid unrealistic expectations. Do not compare yourself to any post-baby celebrity because they have a whole team of people to make them look good (at least in pictures!). After all, their bodies are often essentially their careers.
  3. Eat right. Small steps really help. For instance, instead of chips, have veggie sticks. Instead of ice cream, put some low fat yogurt in the freezer.
  4. Exercise. Go on a walk with your new babies using a stroller or a buggy. You could join a post-baby exercise group, or a gym (or class) specializing in this area. Perhaps a women-only gym if you feel self-conscious.
  5. Talk to your ob/gyn or another health expert about what plan could work for you. Everyone is different, so just focus on those little bundles of joy and in time everything will be back to normal.

  • You can get a special running or exercise stroller at your local baby store or online. But, they're expensive and may not be right for you.

  • Don't take aything too far. You have two newborns to look out for, after all.
